August 26 2024 Admissions meeting, Meeting with Westlake Hot Pilates and more yard work, leads to facebook time

  First think in the morning, I talked on the phone to the admissions.  I have decided to go forward.  I will  submit my application soon.  I will have the money to pay the school in September.  I will pay in October, and will start in November. I am looking forward to this.  I will be able to tell people that I am a student, and then a therapist when I complete it.  I don't like the title retired.  In the afternoon I wasted a some time talking with the guys from westlake. I am not sure if they did what they said they were going to do prior to the meeting.  I don't think I would hire them. It was interesting in some things they said.  They said that the prices are lower than tax assessment.  They said many buyers don't have the cash to come up to purchase something and need to get construction financing, they said there are a lot of owner operator buyers.  They basically said the opposite of what I understood.   ...

August 25 2024 Yoga, yard work and dancing

  Early morning walk for coffee and chocolate croissant.   Followed up by yard work.  I picked the first round of prunes and got them ready for eating Dancing at century.  I danced with Mia, who had not seen in several years.  I see her posts on facebook but not in person since PDX several years ago. 

August 24 2024 Yoga, landscaping, and dance, Eat, Pray Love book

  Nice Japanese breakfast prepared by fumiko.  Yoga in the morning and then landscaping at Marvista.  I was almost too tired to go dancing, but  I decided to to the Swing SCT.  It was a pretty fun night.  I danced with several people I haven't seen in a while.    I have been listing to the book Eat, Pray Love.  I should have listened to this prior to going to Bali, but since I  am still processing those thoughts in my mind it is good to listen now.  I was struck by how the women at Bali trees had all read the book.  In someway they were looking for some spiritual release from their life's issues.  One reason we all went to the see the Shaman.  When the book was written, the writer though being in mid 30s is old, and an older attractive man is in his fifties.  It seems like I was in a situation where the women were in their 40s and I was the older man in his sixties.  Funny.  I really wasn't there to fin...

August 23 2024 Back home. Yoga, yard work, and dance

Early morning yoga was a good way to start the day.  Then work on my landscape projects.  Then hot pilaties.  The evening dance at savoy and then back home.  I took part in the short and sultry dance with Evie.  Eventually I will get a video and I will posit it here. 

August 22 2024 Seshelt back to Seattle

In a rest area along the way home Good Twain restaurant                                                                                                                                       It was very spicy  The sweet green tea was delight full  The ferry ride home  At the ferry dock  Bliss cafe in Gibsons,  One last coffee for the road.

August 21 2024 HiddenGrove, Sechelt BC

August 20 2024 Sechelt BC
