nice flowers on May 17th

Sometimes it is nice to look at flowers.  These look so nice on this day of Norwegian independence.  I get to sing in the choir and march in the parade.  This morning we walked to the tofu store. I completed and sent off the invoice for work over the last week.  Probably they will pay as it is reasonable.  Guests are changing out today.

After hot Pilates fumiko made a nice lunch.
The Seattle ladies Norwiegen chorus sang first with Joseph conducting.  We sang three songs with them.  I wish we had practiced with them before this concert but it was ok.  It sounded fine to me on the back, but I was standing next to two basses, and it threw me off a bit..
At Bergen place there are the Scandinavian flags.  It is where we sang today, and other groups performed.  A politician talked about how the city supports the setende Mai celebration.  The Seattle one is the largest outside of Norway. One of eight people in Washington State are of Scandinavian decent.
Howie was our MC today.  He was eating some food he bought at QFC and a lady came out and said do not sit on the merchandise.  Howie just sat there.  He said no one was going to buy it. The road was closed for the parade.  He said what is she going to do call the police. She moved away from us and stood in a corner by the propane tanks and started smoking.  It was a bit ironic as she was trying to stop what she thought was wrong, but she stood by something's that if it had a leak it would have caused a fire.  She left and we packed up and went to the parade position.  There were a lot of children with their families. The Leif Erickson hall was very busy.   I carried the American flag.  We sang vi elsker in front of the review stand.
