fumiko's birthday trip

Image
Fumiko's birthday trip.  Travel begins with smiles at airport for an afternoon flight.  I just finished getting back on a Seattle sleep schedule and over jet lag from the last trip.  This trip is starting out interesting.  It was going to be a six hour direct flight.  When we got to the airport we learned that they added a stop in San Francisco.  At least I got a nice picture of the golden gate bridge. So the flight will take all day and evening.  Hopefully we get in before the car rental closes.  We still have an hour and half drive to get to the Airbnb.  At least it is self check in.  We will see the stars at night.

Buy nothing you cannot use, is that a religion? Should it be?

One of my new year's goals was to get rid of belongings that I don't need.  What that also means that I shouldn't buy stuff I don't need.  Travel generally includes looking at the things people are selling.  There are a lot of hard sales pitchs to buy things.  I have decided it is my religion that doesn't allow me to buy things I don't need.  That's the first step towards reform, understanding the problem.

The human body as a digital key for financial transactions in the far digital future

In the future, when digital entities, technical and computing power allows for the full scan, an matter transfer of the human body, it will not be because humans will want to transport themselves to another location.  The real reason is that each human body, along with memoies that are added daily will be the digital encryption code for financial transactions of the complex digital rulers of the future.  These entities will be massively connected to a degree there is no individual action of the digital entities that controll and direct every aspect of the human component which is needed to build, maintain the digital entities. Let's call to them the Dees.  Humans because they are living and their bodies and memories are constantly changing, the data represented in the scan of their bodies and brain provides the ultimate digital security key, Desks, for the Dees.  Most desks are used multiple times and doesn't need complete digital conversikn of the body.  These ...

Dream and Dreamscapes

I don't have a picture of my dreams to share. I have an album of mental snapshots of Dreamscapes.  Places my mind has created.  Places that I am familiar with, even though they may not make sense in the real world.   Like a room in the top story of an old house that is huge, and contains a large wooden ball that has a circular stair starting in a hatch at the bottom ending in a room at the top. With curved ceiling and windows that look out to windows of the room that it is within.   Another not so favorite dreamscape is the high desert cave looking out over a desert valley, where I exist as a chattering skeleton. School dreamscape look like open college campuses with hard lines to buildings, large parking lots with letters and numbers identifing where I am.  Usually there is a study hall, where I am working on something that I can't figure out.  Sometimes it is an art studio where I am crazy over drawing with black charcoal.  The images...

Intensity of desire to succeed

Image
Intensity of desire to succeed, and the willingness to put the hard work into achievement.  I went to Salsa Con Todo for the dance.  They had a pro mix and match contest. Evie has been entering these contests for quite a long time. She has always wanted to get to the finals.  Tonight she made it.  I really think it has been the intensity of her desire and work on practice that made the difference. She is always going to practice.  She takes lessons and trays to incorporate what she learns.  She has a unique style of dance that some people who dance with her do not like, or more than likely they don't understand. She even said  something to me night about the guys who do not dance with her, and it made me smile. It was crass enough  that  I would not repeate it without her permission, but it was kinda of true statement an about one aspect of the  dance community that I don't take part in as well.  On the flip side I am so...
